Rupert Rogers had a great day last Sunday when he achieved a F1rst award on his advanced test and managed to score ‘1’ in every one of the 23 marked categories. Just when we thought this was an unbeatable feat, Rupert managed it as well – as rare as a ‘147’ break or 6 ‘sixes’ in an over.
Rupert was delighted – ” very chuffed for sure! I must give praise to Mike as well, he was a fantastic instructor throughout.”
His examiner was very impressed, saying “Rupert is a relatively new driver of about 7 years. However, he does drive about 25,000 miles a year for work, and this experience of heavy mileage has meant that he has gained valuable experience over a short space of time.
This clearly showed in the drive over the prescribed route, with the addition of having a good natural ability coupled with very good hand to eye co-ordination. His overall drive and ability was of a very high standard. Overall a well deserved ‘FIRST’.”
Many congratulations to Rupert from all at GAM, and a Happy Christmas to everyone.
