Jim Holland passed his advanced test with a fantastic result a few days ago. He managed to achieve a score of ‘1’ in all marked categories (consistently above the standard of an advanced driver for the duration of the test), a feat rarely equalled in any test. It was, of course, worthy of a F1rst grade pass.
His examiner said “Jim is an experienced driver and that showed in his capability over the prescribed route. He showed a complete understanding of The System of Car Control and that was demonstrated throughout the drive. His knowledge of the components of Roadcraft were displayed.
To obtain a ‘FIRST’ requires a supreme effort by the driver and Jim certainly demonstrated that in a consistent, calm and professional manner. “
