Despite some poor weather and very wet roads, Will Haseldine got on with it whenever conditions allowed, and passed his advanced driving test on Thursday in some style. He impressed his examiner with good theoretical knowledge on the System of car control, including the benefits of moving brake check which was well executed and very relevant for the conditions.
Will was “safe and systematic and he demonstrated a good progressive braking technique and smooth steering inputs. He showed excellent restraint when approaching vulnerable road users”. So a really good result with some very nice comments from his examiner, and Will was very pleased to pass the test.
Will said afterwards “I have learned so much in a short space of time thanks to the patience and skill of the observers. As a result I will continue to work on improving my driving. At the very least, I want to achieve greater consistency across all advanced driving competencies.”
Congratulations to Will from all of us at GAM. Well done.
