Alan earns another 3 years as a Fellow

Alan Rawlings put in a very good drive earlier this week to earn another 3 years as a Fellow member of IAM RoadSmart. Fellows commit to re-testing every 3 years, and, in return for a small additional IAM fee and a test pass, can get some benefits not available to other IAM members.

Alan’s Examiner said “This was a safe, comfortable, systemised drive that was conducted to a good, advanced standard. Observation was very good, and I could see that you were not just identifying potential hazards, some of which were quite subtle and not overly obvious, but also considering the potential effect of these hazards on your driving plan and then modifying the plan to accommodate these hazards” He added “It was nice to see you making good progress on the more open sections of road, and then showing an appropriate level of restraint where conditions and circumstance dictated”.

So well done Alan, and keep it up as there’s another test in 3 years’ time! Congratulations from all of us at GAM.
